The Herzog Puppy Family
This is the whole reason we do this. Not only seeing the dogs our pups grow to be, but seeing how their families grow with them. It’s an amazing experience that we’ve been lucky enough to have over and over again. We’ve got a wonderful group of people in our private Herzog Puppy Family Facebook group and it's rewarding every single time I see a family post a picture. There can be so many ups and downs to being a breeder. There are the playful times with the pups, endless clean up and some very sad times - but you can see on this page exactly why we do it.

“After researching GSD breeders for literally 3 years we narrowed our search down to two. One very large, nationally known breeder and Herzog. We visited the large breeder first and then came to Herzog. From the very first few minutes at Herzog we felt more welcome and that the focus was on Bella and her fit with us.
We have now had Bella, born from a Lewis & Izzy litter on 1/30/22 for about 7 months. She’s an absolutely perfect representation of the breed standard. She’s incredibly smart, confident, calm and protective yet approachable and friendly with other dogs and people. She was the star of her class in training!
Kate was awesome all the way through the process as well as very available and willing to be available after we brought Bella home and had questions.
