CHOOSING A HERZOG GSD

Thank you for your interest in joining the Herzog Puppy Family!

This page can answer some of your questions about adopting your pup. If you have any other questions, or if you’d like to find out what spots are available in our upcoming litters give me (Kate) a call or text at 779-800-5589 or email mdalman4@gmail.com.

DePOSITS

A non-refundable $500 deposit will reserve your spot in line to choose your puppy.  Deposits are honored at a first come, first served basis.

Although deposits are non-refundable, they may be transferred to a different litter at Herzog German Shepherds up to 3 years later if for any reason you’d like to wait for a different litter.

We no control over the number, sex, coat length, coat color, or attitudes of the puppies born to a litter.  Because of this, we ask that you choose a back up litter along with your first choice litter. This way if things don’t work out with your first litter we have a spot reserved for you with your second choice litter.

VIEW WARRANTY

We have pups living in happy homes across the United States. While we’re able to ship via airplane, we prefer to drive whenever possible. This way we know your pup will arrive well-cared for. Contact us to discuss available options for us to get your pup to you safely.

In the event your pup does fly, we only ship keeping your his or her safety and comfort in mind.  We choose the shortest flight times which means we use direct flights only into major airports and we’ll only ship during comfortable temperatures.  Flight prices vary so please contact us for pricing.   Prior to shipping puppy must receive a USDA Health Certificate from a licensed veterinarian and a travel crate.  This is done at buyer’s expense and will be included in the flight price.

If, for any reason, you can’t keep your pup, we reserve the right of first refusal. We do this to have peace of mind that none of our pups ever end up in a shelter. We understand that life can throw curve balls so we’ll always take our pup back no questions asked. If one of our pups were ever to end up in a shelter, we would pursue legal action.
